November 2020

06/11/2020 Things continue to remain difficult for everyone and we have now entered the second national lockdown. Despite this we are lucky enough that we are able to remain open and are still able to provide all of our services to the same high standard. We are very grateful for currently having work from Twin Services Ltd, Malakoff Limited and a new customer, AAC Eurovent Ltd.

24/09/2020 As things continue to remain difficult for everyone, we have still been lucky and have managed to stay relatively busy. We are very grateful for having work from Redtronic Limited, Safe Production Systems Ltd, Twin Services Ltd and Solar Fire Services Ltd.

Due to re-structuring and using the lockdown period to streamline etc, we do still have capacity for CAD work, laser cutting and 3D printing and will doing everything possible to stay open at 100%.

16/07/2020 The last few months have been difficult for everyone, fortunately we have been lucky and have managed to stay busy. We are very grateful for having work from Redtronic Limited, Safe Production Systems Ltd, Twin Services Ltd and Malakoff Limited.

Due to managing to keep busy we have been able to replace our small 3D printer with a new, larger printer which will allow us to produce larger, better quality prints in a number of different materials.

20/02/2020 We have changed our website. As we continue to try and improve and look at ways to become more streamlined so that our services become better and where possible, better value for money, we have changed who our website is hosted by. We felt that the functionality of our old sit wasn't very good and didn't necessarily get across the high quality/standard we strive to achieve. At present this new site is basically a polished version of our old site with some updates, however we are hoping that over the coming weeks/months it will evolve into something that we are happier represents us. Keep checking back over this time period to see where we end up.

January 2020

27/01/2020 Happy New Year everybody. As well as 2019 being a difficult year, in part due to the uncertainty in the UK, 2019 was also a year of learning for us. While working with some of our clients, and getting some technical support from some knowledgeable sources, we started to look at using 3D printing to produce moulds which can be used to produce prototypes or small batches of components. During our learning process we used 3D prints as the finished part which we used to create a Silicone mould which was then used with Flexible Urethane Foam to make moulded parts. We also used the 3D prints as the actual mould to produce moulded parts. Both of these techniques were successfully used to produce workable prototypes with the 3D printed mould method being used to make a very small run of prototypes. As well as the Flexible Urethane foam we can also use these techniques with rigid foams, rubbers and plastics.

Along with the prototyping and developing the use of 3D printing in the moulding process, we also continued to work with clients we have worked with for a while as well as working with new clients and developing new relationships. Hopefully 2020 will see us grow further and see us working with more new clients alongside our current clients.
